Get in the Ring Split 2019 is an opportunity for local Croatian startups to pitch to prospective investors, partners and mentors. South Central Ventures’ Investment Manager Vedran Blagus was part of the jury for enthusiastic founders presenting their ideas on the future of technology.
There are over 150 Get in the Ring events in over 100 countries around the world every year. The best startups are selected to pitch their project to a special jury in front of a large audience. Only 6 startups are drafted, out of 20 participants, to get in the ring. Besides a financial prize, the winning startup gets a ticket to Global Get In The Ring Competition in 2020.
This year the jury was most impressed with the pitch from Slaven Damjanovic from eAgrar which made them the winners of Get in the Ring Split 2019 contest.
As a member of the jury, Vedran Blagus, our Investment Manager, says after hearing the pitches from the best selected startups, that a very vibrant and untapped Split tech scene with great hard-working founders can be felt at such events: “Split has a lot of offer and their time is coming.”
