The early-stage Start-up accelerator program Uplift Albania is having its second edition. An info session was held on 17 September, where the first batch experience was shared as well as the eligibility requirements, challenges and opportunities for the startup companies were presented.
The acceleration program offers 4 months training sessions with industry experts and mentors, networking opportunities, cash prizes for the best companies and founders as well as an opportunity for a study trip in Slovakia, Check Republic and Austria. The program will be again realized with the support of the domestic and international partners of the program, namely Slovak aid, Sovva, EU for innovation and SwissEP.
Eli Zhabevska, our Senior Associate in Skopje office, participated in the Info session as a panellist sharing her experience as a jury member in the first batch, as well as presenting the SCV and its activities in the region. In this second batch, Eli will also act as a mentor in the program and again as a jury member of the final Demo Day to be held in January 2021.
